Park/Recreation/Trails Assessment and Master Park Plan  Steering Committee Members Wanted


The City of Mounds View has contracted with WSB, a recognized leader in park/trail/recreation assessment and master planning to develop a Master Park Plan for the City of Mounds View.  The process includes a “Steering Committee” comprised of interested residents who use the park/trails/recreations programs in the city.

The Steering Committee will help WSB and Staff guide the process.  Up to 10 community engagement sessions are planned along with monthly meetings for the 3 to 5 months the process will take.  All meetings will occur in the evening.  The city will receive a written report – Capital Improvement Plan upon conclusion of the contract.

Council will be "appointing members" at their May 28, 2024 council meeting.  The Deadline to apply is 5 PM May 22.

Preferred Candidates:

Council is seeking adults (and possibly one older teen) who use the Parks, Trails, Recreation Offerings in the City.  The application includes your name and contact information along with why you want to serve and what you can bring to the conversation.
