K9 Niko
K9 Niko joined the police department in 2012 where he worked full time with his handler Officer Erickson. He is a German Shephard from Eastern Europe, born in May 2011. The team participated annually in the the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Region 18 K-9 trials. They regularly received high marks from the judges. K9 Niko demonstrated skills in apprehension, article searches, agility, and obedience. K9 Niko retired December 2021.
