In Mounds View, a building or zoning permit is required for any project that involves constructing, altering, repairing, moving, or demolishing to a manufactured home or on the property. Examples include: fences, driveways, parking pads, patios, siding, roofing, windows, doors, decks, pools (over 24” deep & 5,000 gallons), and sheds (accessory structures). Significant alterations to any manufactured home is not allowed without a licensed engineer’s designs. Also, any work on gas, mechanical, electrical, plumbing or other home systems which are regulated by the code are required to be permitted.
