The Good Neighbor Back to School Project

The Good Neighbor Back to School Project Needs Your Help!
Organized by the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf

Every child should have adeequate school supplies to start the new school year off right. However, no all families in our community can afford them. Approximately 30% of all students in our district qualify for free or reduced lunches, with several schools well over 50%. The cost of school supplies can place a large strain on the family budget.

The Good Neighbor Back to School Project helps low income children in our community obtain the necessary school supplies to be successful in school. Last year, this program helped supply 900 students in grades K through 12 with everything from pencils to backpacks.

Please consider making a donation by filling a backpack for a child with some of our most needed items:
Larger sized backpack
5 primary colored notebooks
5 primary colored pocket folders
Pencils
Glue Sticks
Liquid Glue
Washable Markers
Pencil Box

Monetary donations can be made out to the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf or online at www.ralphreederfoodshelf.org. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you very much!
