Citizen of the Year


TOWN HALL MEETING

Visit Mounds View City Hall on April 30th  for the 14th annual Town Hall Meeting.  Displays will be open at 5:30 p.m. with Council giving a short presentation on the vision and goals of the City at 6:00 p.m.  Council will present the Citizen of the Year and Coach of the Year awards!  Refreshments will be available, plus Niko the police dog will be present to meet everyone, along with his buddy Keelin the fire dog.  Additionally, SBM Fire will be displaying their new ladder truck!  For more information call City Hall at 763.717.4016.

CITIZEN OF THE YEAR

Each year the City Council recognized a Mounds View resident who represents courage, initiative, time commitment, effectiveness, and unselfishness. The Mounds View Citizen of the Year award recognizes ordinary citizens who have demonstrated initiative to improving the community, whose service or performance exemplifies the spirit of giving back and who inspire others in their volunteer effors. Nominees must posess and demonstrate a generous community spirit. Nominations must be in writing. All materials must be recieved by the close of the nomination period.  For more information call 763.717.4000.
