Sewer Backups

The Mounds View Public Works Department suggests that any resident experiencing a sewer backup, contact the Public Works Department immediately so that the sewer main can be checked for blockages. Public Works can be reached at 763-717-4050, M-F, 7am-3:30pm. Any after hour assistance can be obtained by calling Ramsey County Dispatch at 651-484-9155.

REMEMBER: Contact the Public Works Department FIRST before contacting a plumbing service.

NOTE:  If you have roots cut out (removed) from your sewer service line, please contact the Public Works Department with your property address and day of cleaning. Staff will check the sewer main line to make sure everything passed through and is not causing a backup.
